An Environmental Impact Study (EIS), sometimes known as an Environmental Impact Statement or Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), is a report prepared by a qualified Ecologist which demonstrates how significant natural features and habitats will be appropriately protected during development. An EIS report typically includes a description and characterization of on-site natural features (e.g., woodlands, wetlands, rivers/streams, etc.) and their functions, examination of the development proposed, recommendations to avoid and/or minimize environmental impacts, and a determination of whether or not relevant laws and policies have been addressed. Our staff will work closely with all members of your project team including Engineers, Planners, Architects, Hydrogeologists, and others to identify solutions that are proactive and integrative to achieve the full potential of your development plans.
